Bruntsfield Links Golfing Society, Founded 1761
Founded in 1761, Bruntsfield has its roots embedded in club golf. Named after the “Bruntsfield Links” situated in the city centre where sister clubs including Royal Burgess, Royal Musselburgh and Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers (Muirfield) were formed and based, the club moved to its current location in 1898. Host to the Open Regional qualifying it embarked in a redesign in 2015 and the results make it one of the best private members courses in Scotland. Enjoy a drink in the bar and sample the food on offer while sitting in your own bubble of history while taking in the spectacular views of the Firth of Forth.
